About Course
Spiritual Protocol of Liturgical Dance examines the biblical and spiritual principles of order, submission, training, leadership, unity, and accountability within liturgical dance ministry.
Students will explore the responsibilities of both dance ministers and dance ministry leaders, including submission to God and established ministry leadership, the importance of spiritual and technical training, mentoring, spiritual maturity, and working in unity with the vision of the local church.
Particular attention will be given to maintaining one vision within ministry and working in proper relationship with pastors, dance ministry leaders, praise and worship teams, musicians, and fellow dance ministers.
Through Scripture study, ministry scenarios, reflection, and practical application, students will learn how biblical principles of protocol contribute to healthy, effective, and spiritually mature liturgical dance ministry.
This course is part of The Word In Motion Level I Liturgical Dance Certification Program and builds upon the biblical foundations established in Biblical Origins of Dance.
